Recovering Evangelical

I am still in transition and it's frustrating, in part because I'm seeking ultimately a different sort of employment than what I held before and because my ideal employment doesn't exist.

But I've received grace and see seeking for employment of a variety of sorts as a useful task for me to do as an expression of love for those I care for and who care for me and have been of much assistance to me in this past year.

I can understand, dlw, as I'm older than most of the other students and just obtained my BA degree in Communication Studies from Minnesota State University Moorhead. But, I'm not doing what a lot of them are doing; I'm going the way of being a reporter -- specifically, a television news reporter. I'm not a lefty, nor am I a righty, even though I state I'm conservative. Conservative -- how? Maybe in the way I dress! LOL! I don't know. But, as for job hunting, it's tough out there; I've worked as a freelance newspaper reporter, now I need one that puts me on television so that I can pay my student loans.

thanks for sharing Pete.

It's hard having been a professor and trying to transition to something else, with little experience in business and some gaps in my employment record.

It's even harder finding work that I truly love....
